Before you press the button
Your LIVE is on. The viewers join a stream that is running at that moment. If you are not live yet, they have nowhere to go, and the claim for that username is still used.
The username is right. Dots and underscores matter. One wrong character can send the viewers to someone else's LIVE. Copy the name from your profile if you are not sure.
You stay live for a while. The viewers stay for 15 minutes. Ending the LIVE early also ends the test, so plan to keep streaming for at least that long.
What happens after you claim
The viewers usually start joining within a few minutes and the count goes up step by step. TikTok sometimes updates the number with a small delay, so give it a moment before you judge.

Wait a few minutes. If nothing changes, check that your LIVE is still on and that the username was typed correctly.
Is there a catch?
